Burrowes Huggins Architects

A highly-skilled architectural firm with particular expertise as the prime consultants managing complex projects with demanding process, design and management parameters. Since its formation in 1990, the firm has been involved in a wide range of projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta and the United States such as Four Seasons Resort Whistler, Four Seasons Private Residences, and the Sheraton Le Soleil Hotel in Vancouver. Their work has repeatedly been recognized for excellence. They have received many Georgie awards, including the 2004 Georgie Award for Best Resort Development.

Lead architect, Mike Huggins’ vision for Watermark was to create a beach resort experience in the Pacific Northwest. He has described it as subtle Spanish Mission influence with colours and materials reflective of the Okanagan setting, it is a wonderful melding of North and South.
